Alexeis Filipello, CAS, Lead Practitioner at Gold City Wellness, has a deep connection with herbs, food, and plants. She felt that a mini rejuvenation spa was in need in the Nevada County area that incorporated plants and herbs into the daily practice of skin and body health.

Alexeis Filipello studied Clinical Ayurveda, nutrition, and Herbology at the California College of Ayurveda and Kerala Ayurvedic Academy. Alexeis is a licensed Holistic Esthetician in the state of California and certified acne therapist through Face Reality, Circadia University, and Preston Acne Pros. Gold City holds certifications in Ayurvedic Massage therapy through the California College of Ayurveda, Thai Massage Therapy through Spirit Winds School of Thai Massage, certified level 1 Myofascial Release in the John Barnes approach, Oncology Skincare Specialist through Wellness for Life, and Sculptural face lifting from the Yakov Gershkovich School of Sculptural Face Lifting.
